Mortar and joints

A water-repellent M5 white mortar is recommended. The parts should not be moistened before placement.

The parts are placed with offset joints with a recessed mortar thickness in the horizontal joint between 7 and 10 mm thick. For correct insulation and waterproofing, fill the inner recess of the vertical joint with mortar between the parts.
