The LLOSA TRAMA is a 12 cm thick
piece that creates a grass surface
and supports vehicle loads.
A 5 cm wide concrete grille is created,
providing the piece with the stability
it requires as well as surrounding the
8 x 8 cm grass islands. Approximately
40% of the surface area of the
piece is green with the remaining 60%
distributing the loads to the lower layers.
The LLOSA TRAMA combats erosion
caused by traffic, water and wind, and
avoids plants being uprooted, providing
excellent drainage through its holes.
VEHICLE AREA
The LLOSA TRAMA can be installed
on a sub-base similar to that used for
a road or car park.
To support heavy vehicle traffic, the
sub-base requires a compacted
aggregate with a minimum thickness
of 15 cm.
A 3-5 cm layer of 2/5 mm sand will be
placed on top of the sub-base, which will
form the base of the LLOSA TRAMA.
If the ground has been
strengthened only for light vehicles,
the layer of sand will be applied.
SLOPES
The LLOSA TRAMA can be used on
slopes or riverbanks.
To make sure the slope is stable, the
slabs will be placed in broken formation
with an approximate gradient of 40º.
